Strategic Account Manager

What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategic Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for opening, nurturing and growing our key client and prospect relationships, ensuring the successful adoption of WEKA.io’s solutions, and driving revenue growth within your portfolio. You will act as the primary point of contact for our strategic accounts, leveraging your industry expertise to deliver exceptional value and insights, while also leveraging all other sales resources at your disposal to penetrate key accounts. 


As a Strategic Account Manager you will: 

  • Client Relationship Management: Leverage existing client relationships to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in strategic accounts, understanding their needs and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Create, develop and execute account strategies and plans to drive customer success, satisfaction, and retention, aligning with WEKA.io’s business goals.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services, achieving revenue targets and contributing to overall business growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction metrics, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account status, opportunities, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the technology or data management sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts, with strong sales acumen. Possesses a intimate knowledge of key decision-makers at WEKA target accounts in your territory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, high-performance computing, and data storage solutions 
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.

USA Residents Only: The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $300,000-320,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Flexible Time off (FTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws.
