Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Technical Recruiter to lead efforts in identifying and attracting top technical talent. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with several engineering teams, product, and R&D leadership to understand hiring needs and develop a proactive recruitment strategy. You will create and manage pipelines, source exceptional candidates, and guide them through the full recruitment lifecycle—from initial screen to offer acceptance. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the growth and success of our technical teams at WEKA.

This role is based in our Bengaluru, India office (hybrid optional)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for highly technical positions for our Core Product, including Engineering leaders, key software engineers, architects, researchers, DevOps, and Product.
  • Proactively and creatively source and maintain relationships with top talent in the industry
  • Collaborate with our chief engineering officer, chief product officer, several VPs, and other hiring managers as a true business partner to understand team growth needs and technical hiring requirements and to create comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess technical and soft skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to provide insights on the hiring market and improve recruitment processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in recruiting metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Represent WEKA at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build a network of high-caliber technical talent.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a proven track record of success in sourcing and hiring for technical positions.
  • In-depth understanding of technical roles, preferably in the Storage domain.
  • Strong sourcing skills with expertise in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and various sourcing tools.
  • Proven experience working with Greenhouse ATS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing candidate pipelines and documentation.
  • A passion for technology and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience recruiting in a fast-growing tech startup or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with recruitment for specialized technical areas, such as Storage & File Systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
