Field and Partner Marketing Director, Americas

What’s Cool About This Job 

As the leader of WEKA’s Field and Partner Marketing Americas team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive enterprise sales growth through direct and partner channels. This role will work closely with sales, demand generation, product marketing, and partner teams to create and implement regional marketing plans that align with business objectives and market opportunities. 

 

What You’ll Do:  

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a robust field and partner marketing strategy to support enterprise sales goals in the Americas. 
  • Identify key market opportunities and create targeted campaigns to drive awareness, demand, and expansion business. 

Field Marketing: 

  • Lead the planning and execution of regional marketing programs, events, and campaigns to generate and nurture accounts. 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals and enable them with the necessary activities, tools, and resources.  

Partner Marketing: 

  • Develop and manage marketing programs with key partners to drive joint sales initiatives and co-marketing activities. 
  • Foster strong relationships with partners to leverage their channels and resources for maximum impact. 

Account-Based Marketing (ABM): 

  • Design and implement ABM strategies tailored to high-value target accounts to drive deeper engagement and higher conversion rates. 
  • Work closely with sales leadership to identify target accounts and create personalized 1-to-1 and 1-to-few tactical outreaches.  
  • Develop and deliver customized content, campaigns, and events aimed at specific accounts to support sales objectives. 
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of ABM initiatives and optimize future efforts. 

Regional Campaign Management: 

  • Align with the global demand generation team on multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and industry events to drive regional impact.  
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results. 

Market Research and Analysis: 

  • Understand regional landscape to align WEKA solutions to customer needs, overcome competitive threats, and align to emerging industry trends. 
  • Use insights to inform marketing strategies and position WEKA as a leader in the market.  

Team Leadership: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of field and partner marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team meets and exceeds marketing objectives. 

Budget Management: 

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget for the Americas region, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI. 
  • Track expenses and report on the financial performance of marketing activities. 

 What We’re Seeking 

  • 10+ years of experience in field and partner marketing within the B2B software industry, with a focus on enterprise sales. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful field and partner marketing strategies that drive bookings growth. 
  • Excellent leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically. 
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics. 
  • Experience with ABM tools and methodologies. 
  • In-depth understanding of sales and what drives salespeople, how to communicate with them, and the details of the sales process – supporting the need to drive to a quarterly number. 
  • Understanding of the AI/ML/HPC storage infrastructure market and partner ecosystems in the Americas preferred.  
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
